The typical wrestling practice schedule year-round is 5:30 PM - 6:30PM (Beginner classes) and 6:30PM-7:30PM (Intermediate Classes) Tuesdays and Thursdays (except for on Christian and Federal Holidays).
[*Please note for all high school elite practices, we have practices at Santa Ana H.S., where you can train with both high school and college wrestlers.]
Please note your youth may attend the Beginner and Intermediate classes (both for the price of one) if your youth can concentrate and be on-task for two hours. We do not suggest parents utilize Youth Wrestling as a two hour drop-off daycare service. This is a hand-to-hand combative sport, so youths/teens need to be able to focus and give 100% effort the whole time.
First-time beginner wrestlers need a Liability Waiver completed out by their parent or guardian. This Waiver must be first emailed us then the original copy brought to the first practice and handed to the Program Director.
First-time beginner wrestlers do not need wrestling shoes, may wrestle barefoot if we do not have spare wrestling shoes their size to borrow.
All participants, first time or not, need to bring their own water bottle, wear PE clothes or wrestling apparel and show up with groomed finger nails and be visually hygienically clean before walking onto our wrestling mats.
