WRESTLING PRACTICE FAQ

A. Show up 10 min early to help set-up, ask questions, stretch and get your mind straight.

B. Bring running shoes in case you’re going to be doing sprints or plyometrics outside.

C. Never walk to practice in your wrestling shoes for hygiene reasons.

D. Remember all conversation in practice should only pertain mainly to “Wrestling” and building positive relationships with your teammates, outside of practice time is for small talk.

E. (IF YOU’RE AN ADVANCED WRESTLER) Remember that you were a Beginner once and that the Beginners look up to you even if you don’t tell you they do. Treat them with respect with “respect” also and try to help the Beginners and you’ll be doing God’s Work.

F. Never interrupt the Coach or Coaches and always raise your hand with questions.

G. ALWAYS thank the person(s) who bring you and pick you up from practice. Without them you would not be there. ShOw them your APPRECIATION.

H. WHEN you see a teammate do something that they couldn’t do before, or make any breakthrough in their Wrestling or Mental State be sure to give them KUDOS…..positivity is both selfless and contagious!!!
